Terms of Service
Last updated: July 15, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of acreateqr.com and the AcreateQR service (the “Service”), operated by AcreateQR (“AcreateQR”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
AcreateQR lets you create, customize, host, and track dynamic QR codes. Because codes are dynamic, you can update a code’s destination or content without reprinting it. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your email, so keep access to that inbox secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.
3. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
- Paid plans begin with a trial period, after which your subscription renews automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout, until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- You can cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
- If a payment fails or your subscription lapses, your QR codes may be automatically deactivated until billing is restored. Reactivating your subscription re-enables them.
- Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service, or QR codes created with it, to:
- Link to or distribute malware, phishing pages, scams, or other malicious or deceptive content.
- Facilitate illegal activity, or share content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights or privacy of others.
- Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent the destination of a QR code.
- Distribute sexually exploitative material involving minors, or content that promotes violence or unlawful harm.
- Send unsolicited messages, or abuse, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Redirect a code, after it has been distributed, to content that would have violated these Terms at the time of creation.
We may disable any QR code or suspend any account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, with or without notice.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create with the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and serve that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you upload and link to, and that it complies with these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — belongs to AcreateQR and its licensors. These Terms grant you no right to copy, modify, resell, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), Brevo (email), and Mixpanel (analytics). Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms where applicable. We are not responsible for third-party websites or content that your QR codes link to.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AcreateQR will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold AcreateQR harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Armenia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@acreateqr.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
